Fortnite player uses The Block to create massive Ninja statue

Since The Block smashed Risky Reels and Fortnite players began making content, we’ve seen plenty of unique buildings.
Epic has already announced that the new location replacing Risky will be Grimy Greens, an abandoned stink bomb factory once disguised as a botanical garden that is now being overgrown with plants.
Still, that hasn’t stopped players from creating new locations and sculptures at The Block, but we’ve never seen one quite like this.
Content creator SVSXN used over 7,000 blocks to build a sculpture of Ninja.

Considering the materials they had to work with, the shading and detail on the sculpture are incredibly impressive.
Ninja has broken into the mainstream like no other player and recently went on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show.
He will also be in the news on New Year’s Eve as he hosts a Fortnite tournament live from New York’s Times Square.
With his popularity has also come controversy.
After incorrectly calling out other players for stream sniping, his replies on social media usually feature a stream sniping joke.
At a certain point, all popularity attracts naysayers. While this Ninja sculpture will never appear in the game, it is a testament to the Fortnite player who is truly larger than life.

How to jump off of a diving board in Fortnite Season 3
A Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 Week 3 challenge requires players to jump off of a diving board and here’s a quick guide to completing it.

Fortnite players must search for a diving board and jump off of it this week. This will complete one of the latest Week 3 challenges and provide them with 15,000 XP.
Quests and challenges have always been the most reliable source of XP for Fortnite players. The developers release three Daily Quests every day and seven Weekly Quests every week.
Weekly quests for Week 3 of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 have arrived, and here’s a guide to completing the one based on jumping off a diving board.
Where to find Diving Boards in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3
To complete the Weekly quest, players first need to find one Diving Board. It is located near Rocky Reels and the exact location is marked (blue marker) in the image below:

The diving board is placed on the top of a massive rock in the desert region south of Rocky Reels. It basically gives players a small push and they can dive into the river flowing underneath.
The quest requires you to jump off of a diving board three times, and they don’t need to be unique. This means that the challenge can be completed by jumping off of the aforementioned board repeatedly.
How to reach the diving board in Fortnite Season 3
Another thing to note is the accessibility of the diving board. There’s no way to reach the top of the massive boulder in Zero Build modes owing to the lack of ziplines. Jumping while sprinting might help but it is better to take on this challenge in modes with building enabled.
Obviously, players can directly land at the diving board near Rocky Reels in Zero Build modes but this will only allow them to jump off of it once.
All in all, completing the weekly challenge will grant players 15,000 XP. Seven new quests have been added this week and there will be an additional bonus for completing them. This implies that the total XP output will be over 200,000 which is equivalent to almost three levels in the Battle Pass.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 employee pin pays tribute to Ukraine
The seasonal employee pin for Chapter 3 Season 2 pays a heartfelt tribute to Epic’s humanitarian relief efforts towards Ukraine. Here are more details about it.

Epic Games is known for treating their employees with freebies that represent several seasons of Fortnite or a particular theme it is centered around. Recently they gave away the Chapter 3 Season 2 pins which represented Epic’s support to providing humanitarian relief to war affected Ukraine.
Fortnite is played by millions of players spanning across all ages from around the globe. These players sometimes come from remote countries where they do not have access to better internet or resources, but still they celebrate the spirit of gaming.
However, one of the major hubs of Fortnite players is in Europe and countries like Ukraine has a massive number of active player base who play the game everyday. But when the invasion of Russian forces took place early this year, the internet facilities in the country were shut down and kids were forced to migrate to another nations.
That is when Epic Games stepped in to provide humanitarian relief to the country’s citizens as it donated all of its proceeds through in-game purchases, almost during all of Chapter 3 Season 1. They were successful in raising more than $36 Million for organizations providing relief in Ukraine, with the help of Fortnite’s player base.
Epic Games Employee pin shows support for Ukraine
The employee pin Epic games gave away to its employees who worked on Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2, represented colors of the national flag of Ukraine. This comes in as a gesture of thanks to everyone who were in the process of progressing the game during the ongoing war in the country against Russia.
Moreover, this is not the first time Epic has paid tribute to Ukraine publicly like this. In Chapter 3 Season 2, Epic added two more crates near Condo Canyon, that still exist in-game, which represents the vibrant Blue and Yellow color of the Ukrainian Flag. This shows the strong bond the company shares with the country and the player base that resides within.
However, with the war almost coming to a standstill now, Epic has plans to host a future tournament exclusive to Ukrainian players as they were unable to be a part of FNCS in this chapter. Although this is just a rumor, more information will arrive in the coming weeks as Chapter 3 Season 3 is just getting started with newer updates.

Epic Games caps XP gained from Reality Fruit in Fortnite Season 3
In a recent hotfix the XP players gained from Reality Fruit and Weed was capped. Here’s why.

Reality Fruit and Saplings were an entirely new concept that was introduced in Fortnite Season 3 that offered players a unique way to loot weapons and consumables from. However, the XP gained upon claiming loot from the sapling was much more than the chest and was indefinable. As of now, it seems like Epic decided to cap it for some reason.
The loot system in Fortnite has always relied on Chests and Supply drops other than floor loot that players rely on to get their hands on various tiers of weapons and consumables. Ever since Chapter 1 up until now, the loot system has stayed stagnant and players used to identify POIs with most chest spawns.
It was with the release of Chapter 3 Season 3 when things took a weird turn and loopers started to rely on a plant to get loot more than the chest spawns in a POI. Reality Fruit bears Epic to Legendary loot most of the time whereas Chest spawns usually reward a player with Uncommon to Rare weapon loot.
However, when a player picks fruit loot from a Reality Sapling, they get rewarded with insane amounts of XP which is far more than when one opens a chest. As soon as developers took note of how players were only picking Reality fruit and weed in an entire match to farm XP, they decided to finally cap it for good.
Epic limits amount of XP gained upon picking Reality Fruit / Weed
In a recent hotfix yesterday, Epic patched the number of times a player can gain XP upon performing the two major actions related to Reality Sapling. Those are Picking a Reality Fruit and Picking Weeds that grow around it.
In an in-game method, players discovered that when an XP Supercharged is in play, picking a fruit offers them over 4000 XP in one go. Picking three of them amounts to over 12000 XP and over that picking a weed amounts to over 24000 XP a player would get from a single sapling.
Exploiting this method, loopers used it to their advantage to level up 5-6 tiers in a single match upon only picking fruits and weed from around 20 saplings. The limit has now been capped to 15 times in a single match.
This means that a player will only get XP for the first 15 fruits and weed they pick in a single match. After that, there will not be any XP awarded for any of those actions.
This bold move by Epic was praised by many and at the same time certain players were unhappy to see one of their favorite XP farming methods capped. However, loopers are discovering new ways to farm XP using glitches and Creative AFK XP maps.
